Yes - childcare is usually provided Monday and Tuesday mornings and during the Young Women's Clinic. We ask women to call and book a place for their child/ren.

Appointments are required for all services except the Young Women’s Drop In Service which operates 3.30 – 5.30 during school term.
Parking and entry is via the rear of the building.

Services
Counselling
We provide generalist counselling and offer each woman between 6 and 8 sessions. Our counsellors are trained and experienced in working with women who have experienced trauma, sexual abuse and domestic violence. To access counselling please call the Centre and book in for a 30 minute Intake appointment.
Fees apply between $15 and $35 per session. Women assess what they can pay. No woman will be refused service on the basis if inability to pay.
Medical & Complementary Services

Free women’s health clinics are provided by Drs and nurses. The Women’s Health Clinic is not a General Practitioner (GP) service. We specialise in women’s health issues only.

We can assist you with:

  • Pap tests
  • Breast examinations
  • Pregnancy testing
  • Sexually Transmitted Infections (STI)/HIV testing
  • Contraception
  • Insertion of contraceptives such as IUDs and Implanon
  • Continence
  • Menopause
  • Termination or pregnancy advice and referrals
  • Women’s health issues

Free Young Women’s Drop-In Clinic - 3.30-5.30 Thursdays during school term
This is a free service for young women aged 25 years and under.

Acupuncture is available Mondays and Wednesdays. We provide acupuncture, Chinese herbal medicine, Chinese massage (Tuina), lifestyle and dietary therapy. FEES range from $20 to $40. You assess what you can afford to pay.

Groups We run a wide range of health, self-help, therapeutic and support groups. We also run a number of events throughout the year. See our web-site for the latest events and activities. From time to time we run groups and events in other parts of the Blue Mountains. We advertise these activities in the Blue Mountains Gazette as well as our web-site.
Culturally Specific Services We run a weekly Aboriginal women’s group.
We can access the Health Interpreter Service if English is not your first language.
Other From time to time we run specific projects such as Young Women’s Projects.
Resources 
We have a photocopier and fax available for community use. We also have a JP who is usually available to witness/verify documents – call first to find out when she is in. Our group room is available for community use for women’s events and activities.
